Charrette Corporation 1964 – 2006

Established in Cambridge in 1964, Charrette began as a small shop catering to architects. Its founders, Lionel Spiro and Blair Brown, both Harvard School of Design graduates, noticed a lack of specialized materials for architects and sought to fill this gap. Through Charrette Corporation, they offered a unique collection to architects, commercial artists, and designers: a one-stop shop for all their design supplies and equipment. For many years, Charrette Corporation remained a leading supplier of cutting-edge supplies for architects, graphic designers, and artists both in New England and across the nation.

The one-size-fits-all cap has a large (4” wide) embroidery of the Charrette branded delivery van.
